Open the Settings window of Kaspersky Total Security.
You will need to get a version of Kaspersky equal to or newer than “v16.0.1.445 Patch C”.To block the access to the Internet for a certain application, create a rule for that application in the Firewall settings.
Once the latest version is installed simply perform a database update to ensure the latest Patch is installed and downloaded.Īdding the router as a trusted network or adding exclusions under Protection > Web Anti Virus – does not resolve this issue.

If prompted, at the activation step type in your 20-character activation code, that looks like this XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX.
Afterwards, simply run the file downloaded earlier (double click on it) and follow the setup wizard by pressing Next and Accept, when prompted.
Once the file is downloaded, before installing the new version, please remove your older one like so (instructions are applicable to other versions): / 12064#block1.
Firstly, download Kaspersky Internet Security 2016, to do so, click on the direct link: kaspersky– /english/homeuser/ kis2016/kis16.0.1.445en-au_ full.exe.

This is a known bug with the Kaspersky software and has been resolved in the latest patch.
